Characterized
by having the largest population of Paris, the 15th arrondissement
offers a lively scene on all its streets. Its inhabitants
are heterogeneous, and you can meet both powerful families
and artists or students here. The 15th arrondissement is also
often associated with its enormous concrete tower dominating
Paris, better known as the Tour Montparnasse.
Not
far from here is the Gare Montparnasse, which serves north-west
France.
Even
if concrete Paris does not attract you, you will be charmed
by the two parks of the 15th arrondissement. The verdant parks
André Citroën and Georges Brassens are the symbol
of picturesque Paris. They guarantee you peace and quiet.
Finally,
the 15th arrondissement houses the impressive Parc des Expositions
located at the Porte de Versailles, where numerous exhibitions
are held.
Routes
for everyone :
for
lovers of leisurely walks :
With
the biggest population of the capital, the 15th arrondissement
offers you a "concrete" vision. There are, however,
some very pleasant spots. On the Boulevard Vaugirard you can
discover the Jardin Atlantique with its rest areas, trees
and fountains.
But
the Parks André Citroën and Georges Brassens will
charm you even more. The former covers 14 hectares and gives
you the opportunity to relax alongside its numerous fountains,
trees and copses, while the latter offers you delightful smells
with its vines spread across the hills planted with little
wooden houses.
And
don't forget the Aquaboulevard, the biggest waterpark of Paris,
where the whole family can enjoy itself or relax.
